Student Code of
Conduct & Attendance Policy
1. Attendance and
Punctuality
The institute
maintains a strict policy regarding presence in the classroom to ensure
academic success and discipline.
·
Mandatory Attendance: Students are
expected to maintain a 80% attendance record. Regularity is viewed as a
prerequisite for appearing in examinations or completing the course.
·
Session Punctuality: Students must be
inside the classroom before the commencement of every period. Late arrivals
disrupt the learning environment and may be denied entry to the specific
session.
·
Leave of Absence: In the event of an unavoidable
absence, a formal written application must be submitted by the parent or
guardian in advance.
2. Monitoring and
Parental Involvement
Education is a
partnership between the institute and the home. We prioritize transparency in
student progress.
·
Daily Records: The institute maintains a date-wise
digital attendance record for every student.
·
Performance Tracking: Parents and
guardians are strongly encouraged to stay in touch with the administration to
review their ward's day-to-day academic performance and attendance trends.
·
Communication: Regular parent-teacher interactions
or progress reports will be issued to ensure the student remains on the right
academic path.
3. Disciplinary
Procedures
The institute
maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward negligence and misconduct.
·
Unexplained Absence: If a student is
absent without prior notification, the institute will conduct an internal
inquiry.
·
Misconduct: If a student is found to be engaging
in "undesirable pursuits"—including but not limited to loitering,
breach of institute decorum, or activities detrimental to the learning
environment—immediate disciplinary action will be initiated.
·
Expulsion (Striking off Name): In cases of
repeated absenteeism or serious disciplinary breaches, the student’s name will
be struck off the rolls. In such instances, parents/guardians will be
formally notified, and the institute’s decision shall be final.
